Neighbors helping Seniors
Neighbors helping Seniors is a community-based initiative dedicated to reconnecting neighbors and strengthening local support systems for our seniors. Our role is to facilitate connections between individuals in the community who are seeking assistance and those who wish to volunteer their time. (like our wonderful Senior Care Volunteer- Perri!)

Bridge Roots Relief Bucks Program - Officially launching April, 2026.
This program is designed to partner with organizations that serve low-income families, individuals, and anyone in need of a helping hand. Together, we aim to expand access and create additional pathways of support through the distribution of Relief Bucks vouchers.
These vouchers can be redeemed at our thrift shop and may be used to purchase any items in the store such as clothing, household goods, toys, and more; Helping meet both essential and everyday needs.
We are proud to already be collaborating with partners such as Missoula Early Head Start and the Montana Veterans Association - MVA, working to bridge gaps in access for families enrolled in Early Head Start programs, as well as military and veteran families.

Here at The Bridge, we are committed to doing whatever we can to close gaps, increase accessibility, and help build a sense of community for those who may not yet have one.
Easter Dinner Box Drive - April 2026
Thanks to the generosity of a dedicated donor, we came together to provide Easter dinner for 16 families this Easter. Each box contained an Easter ham and their choice of sides: potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, apple pie, & dinner rolls.
Angels of the Bridge - December 2025
We are beyond grateful to share that this year nearly 400 children applied to our Angels of the Bridge program! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we were able to increase the number of children we originally planned to support and take on 131 children this holiday season. Every single tag was 100% fulfilled, and we feel so blessed to have played a part in bringing joy and support to families throughout Christmas this year.
Thanksgiving Dinner Box Drive - November 2025
In November, we opened a public application to support local families in celebrating Thanksgiving without the added financial stress. We were able to approve all applications, and provided 20 families with full Thanksgiving dinner boxes - complete with a turkey, classic sides and fixings, and, of course, a pie to finish it off.
Annual Winter Coat Drive - October 2025
Through the help of community donors and many hours of work, The Bridge - Hope in the Roots successfully fulfilled all 74 winter coat requests from families in Missoula and the Bitterroot.
Community Free Fridge, Pantry & Cabinet
One of our main community resources we provide is free essentials to our neighbors. We restock weekly to help fill the gaps within Missoula.

Filling Each Fridge - September 2025
An effort to support local bakers and farmers, The Bridge is making large purchases to fill the local Free Fridges that are located throughout Missoula County.
Collab with Early Years Learning Center Inc. - September 2025
The Bridge worked alongside a local daycare to provide diapers, pull ups, wipes, and formula. This facility is currently in the process of transitioning into a crisis placement facility.
Back to School Drive - August 2025
Over 100 Missoula and Bitterroot students received backpacks and school supplies for the 2025 school year.
Angel Giving Tree - December 2024
In Collaboration with Montana Veteran's Association Christmas4Kids program, we were able to fulfill a Christmas for 54 children in the Missoula and Bitterroot community.
